CopyRIGHT is just that. It gives the owner of the copyright the RIGHT to control who can make copies of their work. You can't use their work without their permission just by crediting them.

info and credit the source? Wouldn't it be kind of like doing a research paper where you add your works cited?

I'm just wondering because I created a fansite and I dont know the person personally so I cant get my own photos and stuff, so I get the photos and info from other sites and bring it together on my site.
