Can wireless speakers be connected to a PS3?

Also which 5.1 ch speakers are the best to get good home theatre like experience while watching movies on PS3.Saw the Bose lifestyle system but it was quiet expensive and unimpressive.And I don't want the speakers getting output through an AV receiver like the Bose one.Want the normal 5.1 ch speakers to be wirelessly connected like a 5.1 ch dvd player.
