can we get married on a hiking trail?

My fiance and i want to have something extremley simple. and something memorable and a beautiful view.there is a place i have in mind called mount magazine in arkansas. they have a hike trail to the highest point in arkansas. im curious if its allowed? if anyone has ever done that? and if wearing something weddingish is crazy?

I like your idea very much! I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church and they have a directory of ministers for each state. You could find someone local that could marry you!!

As for wedding garb for a hiking wedding, why not a white baseball cap with bling and a short veil off the back!! I even made a layered tulle train for my golfing buddy and we had a 'wedding' tournament. She looked so cute with the train we pinned onto the back of her golf shorts!!!

You could also get very creative and make two tee shirts that highlight the date, place, etc... for you two and your witnesses.

Digital cameras are fantastic for those candid, spur of the moment, moments!!
