Can we boost learning by restoring dress codes? Less peer pressure vs unneeded classroom sexuality distraction?

In 1964, I had a tuff enough time dealing with my "raging hormones" when the girls wore skirts + blouses or sweaters, as per our high school's dress code. Can't imagine maintaining attention on classroom studies if the girls dressed in their "show as much as you can get away with" outfits of today. I figure the reverse is true as the girls scope out the guys.

Are the kids in school to show off the latest non-clothing of dysfunctional tweener rock stars, or are they there to get a useful education?
