My husband is being held in federal custody, on poss with intent 5grams or more meth charge, the us probation officer put together paperwork on what he thinks judge should do, and based on 2 contempt of courts in1995 and parole revocation in 2003 the prob. officer said, no,but my husbands public defender stopped the judge and asked for continuoces, said at that time judge would not of granted release, flight risk. These charges stem from a search warrant where my husband handed them everything, didn't want our 5yr son seeing house get tore up, he knew the indictment was coming and never tried to run, the past 9m0 he really changed his life got drivers license back , good job, documented neg ua's, so to keep him from home and in jail is stupid, he is going to accept responsibility and plead guilty, How do I go about asking judge to release him on ankle monitoring, house arrest, get a bond and post it anything to get him out before he goes away. HELP!!!!
can u simple hire a lawyer to prepare the paperwork to grant you release til trial?
