so im kinda addicted to the camera i love taking pics and latley ive been getting headaches is the flashes from the camera causing this or is this something else?
Yea if you don't like the flash of course it can give you headaches...temporary ones though. If you have chronic headaches, it's probably not from the flashes.
The flash is a very bright burst of light. It overwhelms the optical nerve during the time it is going (1/25th second to 1/250th with good cameras.) That could *easily* cause a headache...I would suggest closing your eyes right as the flash fires...if you are shooting you should have no problem closing your eyes at the right time.
