can tmobile let me trade a motorla phone for a blackberry if the motorola isnt

working and is only 5 months? i went to walmart to see what was wrong with my motorola phone and it is the wires on the top part and i am wondering if i can trade it for a blackberry phone if the motorolla isnt working and if it is only 5 months old i got it for my birthday as a birthday present from my dad and stepmom
