I have some images of an experiment I did last summer in a lab, and I was recently asked for them to verify some results. I had converted only a few of them to jpegs, and today when I went back into my folder I found that all of the tiffs had gone white! The bands are still visible, but only barely... Why are the jpegs okay and the tiffs not? Is there any way I can restore them?
