I want full custody of my baby I'm the only parent who signed his birth certificate can I just make the baby's dad sign a paper giving up his rights and seal it at a notary to make it legal
 
Parental rights laws are far too complicated and strong for that to work. No way to handle this without a lawyer. Sorry.

(The laws are written to cover all situations, all people, even though they may seem to be too much for what you think is just a simple case for you.)
