The Keyboard in question . . .
. . . the Laptop-keyboard within the Apple Powerbook G4 12-inch/Aluminum [which features XGA or 1024x768 resolution]

The PC System in question . . .
. . . the Mainboard (and-associated-componentry) inside of a Dell Latitude D410 ultraportable-laptop [or other similar Pentium-M / XGA-resolution / ultraportable-laptop, e.g. IBM X41, HP-Compaq nc4010, etc.]

Background to this question:

I want to remove all the internal electrical components from the inside of a non-working Apple Powerbook G4 (12"/Aluminum) -- it's a great case with classic Apple design. The still-functioning keyboard would of course remain in the case.

Then I want to remove all the internal electrical components from the Dell D410 and install them inside the Apple Case.

In other words, I'm entertaining a "brain transplant" that implants the "PC brain" into the "Apple body".

[This will involve considerable modification of the inside of the Apple case, using scratch-made-DIY brackets / mounts / spacers, etc. and maybe lengthening of some of the internal wiring & cabling as needed.]

Here are two key questions . . .

1) Can this Apple keyboard be directly connected to this PC-system? Or perhaps readily adapted to work with this PC-system?

2) Will I be able to connect the PC-video-output directly to the Apple LCD-display?? Maybe I'll need to do a PC-LCD transplant as well?

I would just love to see the Windows XP screen pop up on the display of this Classic Aluminum Powerbook. Would this turn a few heads or what?
