If I have a wireless network adapter and I am getting internet from another computer's router, can they detect me on their network? I also had to enter in the WEP key to access it because it was a secure network. I'm not stealing this from someone else, it's a computer in the same house. I'm just wondering if the host computer can somehow see if I'm connected. Does this still apply even if they network adapter is unplugged from my computer?
