Im planning on setting up a 7' by 3' by 2 1/2' foot tank. It will have fine non silica sand. Trust me iv already done tons of research and have kept fish for years so there's no need to tell me that these fish are for the experienced fish keepers only. Would 2 or 3 Geophagus Surinamensis be compatible with one freshwater motoro stingray? I know Geos are peaceful, Im only concerned with them being earth eaters and competing with it for food or accidently biting it when looking for food. There will be several other fish in the tank too but they are no problem. "yahoo answers" probably isn't the best place to be asking this question. But whatever its too late....
