Can there be a possibility of getting permanent in usa through study visa?

m pursuing engineering...btech - mechanical from punjab,india
i want to do mtech from usa(any state) and i always wanted....to steele there...m so desperate to get permanenet settlement in abroad!!
can u plz guide me that is there be any possibility of getting permanent in usa through study visa!!
