Can the Xbox 360 play PS3 games?

My friend keeps telling me that it's possible but it's not. It's just not the same format. So can I play metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360?

Of course not. PS3 games are made specifically for the PS3 as well as Xbox 360 games are made only for the Xbox 360. If games were compatible with all systems, then companies would lose money big time due to people only using one game system.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is only made specifically for the PS3.
