can the wi-fi on the motorola droid surf the net with a router at home?

You CAN connect your droid to WiFi. It doesn't affect your phone bill.

It's much faster than using a cellular data network, and if you're already paying for your internet for your laptop or desktop computers it's essentially free internet for your droid.
 
I'm still not sure, bcuz som1 said it was possible and they did it on theirs.
and if its possible are there any unknown charges?
I just want to know if i can just connect the droid to my router,and if it will let me browse the net without difficultly...

If it's a wireless router sure you can turn the droids wifi on and then if the router has a wep key you type it in. But you still need to have the 3G plan
