Can the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible get unlocked to use on sprint?

I already got a HTC Evo on Sprint. Just asking because I got a friend who will sell me one like new for $160 no contract. He just canceled Verizon and paid early termination fees just to get a HTC Evo! Crazy Huh! That is why I'm asking. I would buy it if i can unlock it, use it on Sprint, add a line no contract. I already know both phones run on CDMA networks. My question just is if the HTC Droid Incredible can be unlocked and used on sprint?

Sprint will not activate a phone that is not Sprint branded (nor will Verizon)
