...or ceramic? I don't suppose it would be able to fire plain old clay, but would there be some sort of mixture that could be fired in a self-cleaning oven that could be safely used for food? The resins and such that they sell for "baking" in an ordinary oven aren't safe to eat off of or with. I don't have access to an actual kiln, so I'm looking for any sort of "middle ground" I might be able to find. Any sort of "hybrid clay", perhaps? :-?
