No phone can "recharge itself" unless it has a solar power back that allows it to (which no phone has ... yet I hope) If the phone is kept off for a short period of time it SEEMS like it recharges itself bc the battery says it has went up a bar and what it really does is it is saving the battery it puts all the energy it was going to use back into the battery which makes it "recharge" (it doesn't really recharge, it just makes it look that way)
