i have a septic toilet sewer system and the overflow is readily available in a trench drain, could i use this run off to water my vegie garden and lawn.i have heard of other situations where this overflow water is the main source of nutrients for lawn / garden areas ,is this any different to putting cow, chook, horse, sheep poo, directly on my vegie garden ? would i need to dilute this water ? good idea for recycling ?,cheap and easy fertiliser?only metres away from my `no dig garden` and `normal dirt` vegie patches. i`m im australia but i would expect our poo is no different to any other. don`t be too cheeky on that bit ,at the moment growing great vegies ,just want to save on fertiliser costs. currently using all the poo`s ,just like to know if this would be beneficial for my vegie garden?

In the US, the septic doesn't run above ground. It is all underground. I wouldn't see a problem except for all the bacteria from feces. If its overflow, does that mean its the oldest poo? Also, any cleaning or detergent chemicals will also be in there and that may not be good either. Then again you may win some garden awards.
