Can the intel core 2 quad destroy the ps3's cell brodband engine in gaming

like other people say? Is the intel core 2 quad better then the ps3's cell brodband engine in gaming like other people say it can? Is the ps3' cell weaker then the intel core 2 quad? Please be honest no pc or ps3 fan answers.

You cant compare a PC to a console on it's processor alone, by far, if a PC had to go up agains a PS3 on gameing quality on it's processor alone, the PS3 would win hands down. throw in a High end Gameing Graphics card, and the PS3 would struggle to keep up, set the PC to SLI (2 3 or even 4 with a dedicated Physx card)then the PC would win hands down, PS3 wouldnt even come close.

all depends on the hardware you put in. and remember PS3 is built especialy for gameing, nothing else. PC's are built for other things. a 'Gameing' pc would beat a ps3 or any conosle qithout question.
