I have a full insurance coverage for my car. My car was stolen recently from a gated garage in a residential building. The way that it was stolen, was that the thief broke into my friend's car and took some of his belongings and also my car key, and then stole my car. both cars were locked. Since we have a tandem parking, we leave our car keys in each other's cars.
my question is this: is it possible that the insurance company says that because the car key was in the other car, we will not pay the money?
Thank you,
