I would like to get this phone unlocked and use it with my At&t account but without a data plan. I want to know if this is possible. Will At&t know I have a smartphone if I never tell them? Also, does the phone automatically connect to data applications for instant updates or would I have to connect to data in order to use it? I'm concerned about accidental data usage and if it is protected against.
Can the htc smart f3188 be used as an unlocked phone with no data plan with AT&T?
