My problem is my father in-law bought the truck without driving it first cause it was from a family member. He is a very large man and cant fit in it cause the seat wont move back far enough. He thinks it's an easy fix by just drilling new holes and moving it back. But there is a problem, the front bolts are bolted to a cross member that travels under the seat perpendicular to the frame and the bolts are bolted in horizontally into the side of the cross member parallel to the frame. The back bolts are bolted in normally into the floor which I'm sure there is some sort of reinforcement which cannot be seen. If the seat can be moved I want it done right with safety in mind. Is there any kits or anything for this fix because im sure there are thousands of other people who have faced this same problem. Im aware that this may be a fabrication job that would require welding. Thanks.
