can the cops take you to jail for not going to school? PLEASE HELP!?

my mom was suppose to call my grandmother to come get me this morning and take me to missiouri so i could live with my mom well she called my grandmother && and my grandmother said call juvenile on her i aint coming to get her and i havent been going to school they've let me stay home exept for today but for the past 3 months they have.
 
You could be placed in a juvenile facility or a special school for truants. Your mother could face serious fines for not sending you to school. Your entire future depends on your education. This is a very serious matter.
 
No, you will not "go to jail"! Your mom and grandmother could get into serious trouble due to the compulsory education laws in your state. Your parents are responsible for your care and that includes making sure you go to school.

The juvenile courts will work out a plan to get you back in school. It is your mom and grandmother who are violating the law by allowing you to stay home.

You need a good education so you can be self supporting when you grow up. You do not want to become a burden on society by never getting an education.
