Can the army buy out other branches contracts?

The Marines CAN let a fellow "off the hook".

The Army CAN generally choose to look the other way if there is a discharge issue.

The President CAN give a fellow a pardon, and more order the Marines to behave themselves.

BUT, these things sometimes don't happen.

And I wish you well in any adjustments you might need to make.

By the way: THE MARINES saved this NG.

Marines are not as silly when it comes to some types of wounds as NG Army can be.

WORD.

No. Transferring to another branch does not work that way. The way to transfer branches while still under contract involves many steps, none of which involved anyone "buying out" your contract.

If you are currently under contract with the USMC, then no Army recruiter is even gonna give you the time of day because of the difficulty in switching branches, and the fact that the Army is rarely even giving contracts to anyone with prior service.
