Can straight people enjoy gay-themed films?

There's a gay comedy I want to buy on DVD cos I saw a trailer for it & it seems quite funny but just a bit worried about what people will think :o

I think you are way out there. As someone who bats for my OWN side,;) I reckon there is more than 1% of stuff for you lot! And to be honest, MOST tv programmes arent aimed at straight OR gay people, just people. So that pushes the % much higher.

Oh,and OP, I would quite happily watch a gay comedy, but not a gay drama. I cringe at Eastenders ( The Syeed & Christian snogging bits:eek:), but laugh at any gay comedy.

And me.

Queer As Folk had a wonderful blend of humour and drama. Obviously the 'gay' aspect of it was central to the story but pretty irrelevant to how much I enjoyed it.

And I love the soundtrack too :o:D

I wouldn't use that movie as the benchmark for gay comedies. All three Eating Out films are low-rent sub-John Waters movies. The only reason you'd watch them, or should I say the only reason I watched them, is for the occassional flash of hot male nudity.

This, I suspect, would not interest you enough to continue viewing.
