I'm always stymied about talks on logic and rationale. I once sat through a lecture given by a brilliant professor on rationality. However, I have a little question. Rational/logical conclusions are only logical or rational in the sense that they've not been disproved. Is logic only as logical as the current belief structure. In other words, what is logical today mght be highly irrational 50 years from now?
Can something (theory, practice) that seems logical today be illogical in 50 years?
