Can someone use easy and understandable terms to define "whim", "whimsy", and

"whimsical"? Please no dictionary definitions, I want your own definition of the words. How would YOU define these words...

And please no online dictionary/thesaurus links.

whim- depending on its usage it can have a negative or positive connotation
usually it means to act on an impulse or urge, sometimes it means to do something for fickle or capricious reasons (negative)

whimsy- imaginative/creative and fun
whimsical- to be imaginative/creative and fun on a regular basis
