Can someone sell me on a Blackjack?

I've narrowed down my phone selection between a Pearl and a Blackjack, and I have both now. Right now, I'm leaning towards a Pearl, because I find the UI on the Blackjack to be a bit clunky and menu dependent compared to a Pearl. For example, out of the box, I can't customize the start menu, and navigating from the application at the top of the list to the bottom of the list takes a lot longer then the Pearl. I could probably customize the Blackjack to suit my tastes, but it would take some time, which I'd rather use toward something else. I also like the form factor of the Pearl a lot more and prefer using a trackball over the D-Pad and jog wheel. The only thing that keeps me thinking about the Blackjack is that the Calendar and Contacts are a bit better (but the Pearl's is functional) and the 3G. I'm not using 3G now, but there may come a time soon when I won't have my broadband connection at home and may need the 3G as a cheap broadband connection.

So, is there anything that I'm missing about the Blackjack that I need to consider before returning it?

the windows mobile os is much more customizable and has many more 3rd party apps available for it then the blackberry. The qwerty keyboard is easier to use as well. And the media functions of the blackjack are far better than the blackberry. Also I've heard the keyboard on the pearl wears out really quickly. I was considering the same thing, but the pearl just doesn't offer as much for the same price. Its basically just prettier.
