can someone please recommend a book with a happy ending?

I am sick and fed up of reading books that leave me more depressed than when I started them. I want a book, preferably about love, or involving love in some way, where the two people involved end up properly getting together. I want to escape for a few hours into a world where everything is perfect (like at the end of breaking dawn/pride and prejudice). is this too much to ask from a book?
Amongst my favourites are; Pride and prejudice, Jane Ayre, and the twilight series, Dick francis, Dan Brown, and Harry potter, but I'm willing to give everything a try.

Well, it's not exactly a HAPPY ending as such, but everything gets resolved and all is well. If your looking for humanoids, probably not. It's called Watership Down by Richard Adams and most teachers have said they'd found it as a happy ending.

The Chalet Girl by Kate Lace. It's a nice love story, and everyone ends up happy.
