Can someone please explain what is happening with the TV show LOST?

I know what is going on, well.. as good as possible... but I don't understand who what where why?
especially: Who is Locke now? Is Sayeed bad now? Who are all these new people (like the Japanese guy?) Who was Jacob? Is he really dead?

lol Please shed some light on this for me.
 
ok 1. locke IS dead the locke you see is the MAn iN black, who went into lockes body when he died
2. yes apparently sayeed is bad
3. the new people were the others that were sent to the temple because it was a safe place
4. jacob was the "protecter" of the island and yes he is dead, he got stabbed by ben
 
Locke is the Man in Black, at the beginning of season 5. Pretty sure Sayid is totally infected now, like Claire. I guess the "Japanese guy" you're talking about is Dogen. (The guy who Sayid just drowned?) He, and all of the other people at the temple are others. Jacob was the protector of the island. Yes, he died. (But Hurley still has regular conversations with him, of course).
 
Locke is me, the guy who was talking to Jacob at the very begining of the episode "The Incedent" (its the season 5 finale, its all over youtube or hulu)

Sayid is bad now. I've infected him and now that I was able to speak to him, he's mine

Dogen & the other temple dwellers are the others. Ben sent them all to the temple in season 3.

Jacob is the 'protector' of the island. He's dead now. Ben killed him. I had nothing to do with it.

Jack, you should have given him the pill.
