Hi! I hope my question makes sense?
I am presently taking RCIA classes at my Catholic Church & waiting to be confirmed next Easter.
However, my Priest told me at my meeting with him recently that since my first marriage was not annulled (& yes I remarried) - it would go before a Tribunal counsel for them to decide if my first marriage was valid or not. I understand this much.
SO - >>>Here is my actual question: On next Easter - will I still be able to be "confirmed" BUT I just will NOT have the Rite to the Eucharist Sacrament? Or will I NOT even be able to be Confirmed at all into the Catholic Church?
So what does it mean that we have our big rite of welcome next weekend & it says I will be in full communion with the Catholic Church?
