I am asking this question on behalf of my nana. Like most pensioners she doesn't have a lot of money to spare and her fire (linked to all the plumbing) has broken. This is a serious problem as she wont have any form of heating, or hot water in the winter. Unfortunately we don't have quite enough money to pay for it in full (£3,000) so i was wondering if there is a way of getting a grant.
Important Point: she lives in suffolk, Tried the local council and they don't have the money to help. Also tried home front but they were not very helpful.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
