I was in a car accident a few months ago and my car was pretty much totaled from the side. I took off to college without it and now I learn that my uncle took my car to a junkyard without consulting me. What is more is that I had planned on selling the parts because there was still some value to them since they managed to stay in good condition. The car still turned on like it was new, it was only not driveable becasue the doors from one side had been smashed in and the frame stayed crooked. While I was away my mom asked my uncle if he could sell some of the parts for her, he agreed but apparently he got a friend of his to drive the messed up car to wherever it was they were planning to take it to and got a ticket for driving it that way. My uncle said the money we would have gained from selling the motor would go towards the ticket. He then told my mom he sent my car to a junkyard. I had no idea whatsoever he had done any of this. Is there anything that I can do?? I am very upset and feel that there is something very wrong with what happend. Can anyone give me any advice on what is best to do at this point?
Also, the car is in my name and I paid 2/3 of the cost for it, the other amount was paid by my mother.
