Can someone help this brand new e61 owner?

I have searched this forum but I can't seem to figure out how to set up my wifi on my e61. Is there anyone willing to walk me through step by step? Very confused. Thanks

hit menu -> tools -> settings -> connection -> access points

options -> new access point -> default settings

enter the name you want
data bearer = wireless lan
network name - search or enter whatever

then enter all the rest of your network settings if you use wep or whatever you have to enter that

then go to the web browser, go to settings and choose accesspoint and choose ask every time. then when you open the browser it will ask you what connection you want to use.
