A student collected the following data while determining the molar heat of neutralization of a monoprotic acid, HA, with NaOH. Calculate the molar heat of neutralization of this acid with NaOH. Assume that the specific heats of the solutions are the same as water.
a) temperature of HA and NaOH before mixing is 23.7C
b) concentration of the acid, HA is 1.06M
c) concentraion of NaOH is 1.12M
d) volume of the acid, HA used is 50.0ml
e)volume of the base, NaOH used is 50.0 ml
f)temperature of calorimeter and mixture at time=0 is 29.7C
g) heat capacity of calorimeter is 6.9J/C
