Can someone help me with my Panasonic?

I just got a DMC-ZS7 Panasonic, and I already have a minor problem. How do you turn off the flash. When I'm indoors the camera uses flash, but doesn't when I'm outdoors. I really want to turn off the flash for good, indoors and outdoors. Cause the photo sucks with flash. Can anyone help me?
P.S. Returning the camera is the very very last thing I wanna to. It was 400 bucks, and it would anger my parents a lot. (I didn't want this camera, I liked one of the Canon power shots.)
 
Press the "flash" marked, right arrow key on the round button on the back.
It usually cycles through auto, fill in, red-eye reduction and off.
Press the center button when you find what you need.
