i have been in a car accident but minor.I was backing out of a parking space and putting my car in drive.Apparently the person in another parking space to my left when i was completely out of the parking decides to back up.He hits me on my left side of my fender causeing a dent it is minor but its really noticeble. His car does not have anymark what so ever and he denys hitting me telling me it is my fault.My horn got stuck once he hit me.So i think it was kinda hard.If we exchange information will my insurance rate go up since i did not cause the accident.I have allstate.Also he denid giving me any information having to do with insurance .He did give me his number and i did take down his name and license plate number.What do i do next he offered to pay for the damages..Also is it illegal to hold the other persons insurance information..help me out please..CAN SOMEONE PROVIDEME WITH THE CORRECT INFORMATION SO I KNOW WHAT TO DO IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN..ALSO I LIVE IN LA CALIFORNIA..THANX I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ..
