Yeah, anything with talking animals is good. Maybe you can write about a penguin (or any animal of your choice) who doesn't believe in Christmas but through several happenings (of your choosing) begins to believe. I dunno, pretty simple story but it's a start. Just think simplicity. Think of the simplest elements and put them together.
