Hello everyone!
I have been having this same issue for the past four years, and I just can't take it anymore!
Anyways, my problem is...I have a Dodge Neon, I installed a new CD/MP3/USB deck for it and it worked VERY well for the first year or so...Out of no where while driving home the sound just flat out stopped coming out of the speakers although the deck was still lit up and working. A day later the sound came back but would only go up so far until once again it would just cut out...I then hooked up new speakers thinking that I may have blown them, but that did not help, it still did the same thing. I even got a new replacement deck that was yet again the same model because we had a warranty on the old one. I took the old one out and plugged the new one in (not changing the power plug because it still fit the new one) and low and behold, the SAME THING...I tried hooking a speaker right up to the wires from the deck and not letting it travel through my car wires to test and see if the wires in my car were bad, but once again, it did the same thing...
I do not know what else to do...I thought about just buying a whole new deck but I am not sure that it would even help...
If anyone could PLEASE help me out, I would really love to hear what you have to say, this issue is about to drive me crazy!
THANKS!
~Kayla Lynn
Note : In case within all of what I wrote you missed or may have forgotten all that I tried here is a list... : )
New Deck - Failed
New Speakers - Failed
Direct Wire Test Connected to Deck - Failed
Thanks again for the help!!
