Can someone give me guidelines on how to write a debate?

I am in 8th grade and I need help in writing a debate. Can someone give me the layout and format on how to write a debate.

1. The time limit is 2 + 1 Minutes
2. Topic: 'This house believes that we should conserve energy and natural resources even at the cost of personal comfort’

Please Help.
 
Start of with a team line so:

"Natural resources should be conserved at the cost of personal comfort" *something more creative than this*

Good evening.......

Then talk about what you are going to talk about
so: Tonight i will talk about *3 resons* Blaa, Blaa and Blaa...

if you are not the first speaker, then "Before i go onto these points, i would like to point out some major flaws in the oppositions arguement" and do some rebutle.

Then go onto the points: "Point 1 - Blaa, blaa, blaa. Point 2, Blaa, Blaa, Blaa etc"


Conclude what you have said,

Then just thank everyone
