So I put my dirt bike away for the winter and got it out yesterday to start it and get it going for the spring and summer. I charged the battery and put gas into it. It took a little bit for it to get going I used the choke to start it. My problem is that I can get it to run fine with the choke on and it is able to idle fine in neutral, but when I go to hit the choke off the bike dies out and stops running. I ran it for a good 10 minutes with the choke on so it was warm and still when I took the choke off it dies out and I cant start it without the choke. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem might be or something I could try doing?? My only guess is that the gas I put in was not as fresh as I thought and maybe that could be the problem but I really dont know. It is a 2004 Yamaha 125 TT. So if anyone can give some advice I would appreciate it. Thanks a lot!!
