in history how many civilizations have fallen after they accepted homosexuals as acceptable?

No, but I can give you a list of countries that have fallen after accepting organised religion.

And to the guy below me many MANY civilisations have accepted homosexuality as a normal part of everyday life.

The Greeks and the Spartans top the list of many. And before you open your misinformed mouth their downfall has nothing to do with their acceptance of homosexuality. Every civilisation has fallen except those that are now in existance today.
 
Right off the top of my head, there's the Canaanites...

Who were killed off by the followers of the 'God of Abraham' explicitly, so I guess the moral is civilizations that accept gays will fall because Abrahamic Religions are complete dicks.
 
I cannot think of any civilizations that have either risen or fallen because of their acceptance of Gays. I also cannot think of any civilizations which are better off for treating people they disagree with as being less than themselves . . . which is what I think you are doing.

I don't know about a list, but in ancient Greece it was perfectly acceptable for a grown man to have a sexual relationship with a young boy.

No one has fallen over accepting them. None at all. Most are accepting. Where i live, in australia, it's perfectly acceptable in society. Not law, but society.
 
You're making connections that aren't there. Every past empire has fallen, whether they accepted gays or not. Your prejudices are shining through without you saying them. I'm a christian and I'm not too keen on allowing gay couples to marry (in the church only, I don't care about civil unions)

I'm not saying you're one of these people, but White power people, and the people who protest military funerals use these same rationale to hate gays and the country(godhatesfags.com) So you shouldn't go there..it's a slippery slope.

You need to stop it. God isn't going to destroy this country, because I know that's what you're implying. There are bigger evils going on in today's society, than what some people do that has no effect on you, whatsoever.
 
The US is as close as it has gotten... but the two things are just a coincidence here.
