Can someone explain

Hi,

For the past couple of days, I will eat until I feel full, so full that I can't eat another bite. Well, about half hour after I eat, my stomach is growling and I feel really hungry again.

Like this morning my stomach is growling furiously, I haven't eaten yet, but will soon, but soon after that I will be hungry again.

I don't understand a darn thing here.

Thanks

Kelsey

Any other symptoms? New or increased anxiety, high resting pulse rate, tremor, increased number of BMs, muscle tension? If you have any of these, get your thyroid tested. It could be working overtime, which can cause insatiable hunger.

We feel hungry when our blood sugar levels drop. Example: When someone eats sweet stuff, the body blood sugar rises precipitously. The body reacts by producing insulin in the pancreas and brings the sugar levers down. And when that happens, you guessed, you are hungry again. You must modify your diet, and keep a diary of dates, foods, and hunger index to figure it out. Opinions from members won't help you much because we don't know anything about your eating habits.

Hi,

My diet usually consists of:

2 ounces of cheese at 8 am for breakfast, 8 ounce glass of v8 juice. Sometimes I will have cottage cheese. I will also have a hard boiled egg with this most mornings but not all mornings.

Then at lunch around 11 am I have chicken and baked potato or french fries and water, or pop.

At dinner around 4 pm I will eat what my mother makes, either Pork chops, Hamburger, Chicken, Turkey, with some kind of potato and a vegetable or salad, she always has rolls but I rarely eat them because I am not a bread person, bread nauseats me.

Then at snack time I will have some popcorn and cheese, and little bites of cheese throughout the day. I love cheese, not all cheeses but most cheeses. I like string cheese, block cheese, as in cheddar, colby, I love swiss cheese. I do not like weird cheeses though, as in blue cheese, feta cheese, all the really strong cheeses. But I can eat alot of cheese.

I always thought that cheese expands in your stomach which then is supposed to make you feel fuller.

I do consume alot of foods that are rich in protein.

Thanks
