First question why is the new ipad the same price as the iphone is it something to do with the fact that the ipad is just a bigger version. Or am i missing something. I was looking through the apple store and found a mid range iphone costs the same as a basic ipad. so what is ipad offering that iphone isn't. if all's it is offering is ability to run things like word or i word what documents then I think i'll sacrifice touch screen and save money. I can't see there logic. It's like my tutor seems to be obsesed by them and says its all about stability as there os only cost £20 but Microsoft costs £200 fair enough on that front but a high end windows machine 8GB RAM 1TB HDD 4GHZ processor would range at £500 + OS where as I saw a MAC for sale with 2GB RAM, 2.4GHz processor and a 250GB HDD for £800 so if the OS only costs £20 people are paying £780 for something they can get for £500 whats the point of that one.
The other point people make is stability well I have had my PC going on 2 years never crashed still fast and it only cost me £400 with the added benifit of me knowing about computers. and my PC's hardware way out does the MAC at £800 in specs.
So can someone explain to me what we are paying for. I mean there new MAC costs ni on 2 grand
sorry one more thing I was watching steve reveal the ipad and do you know what he thought was great the fact that it could do slide shows and view a calendar I mean come on ohh and go on the internet whooooo cutting edge stevo.
