Can somebody help me out on ways to get a job at a cellphone place??

I worked for an at&t call center...an I love working with cellphones an people...to me its simple an the only thing I'd need to learn is activating a cellphone....I'm one of those people that give people information about everything an anything..I've applied at at&t an U.S. cellular...an I never got the job..idk y..I thought my resume an cover letter was good...I just don't kno what they are looking for exactly...any help would be great..thanks
