Roses Are Dead

Roses are dead and so am I
for what you’ve done you will die
I won’t give up without a fight
when I spread my wings and begin to fly
for you will soon be one with the forever night sky.

When the time comes for me to soar
I’ll be ready unlike before
when you open the door
you won’t see me on the floor
I won't do this anymore.

Roses are dead but not for long
when I ring the dong
I’ll know where I belong
for I will finally hear the heavenly song.
