I am very curious where you got these period classifications from. I have never heard of them. sure, there was a time before 'modern chemistry' where alchemy was practiced (google alchemy), there was a time in the late 1800s where 'real science' was taking over, things became more quantitative, rather than qualitative descriptions.
The Atomic period might apply to intense research around the 2nd world war into atomic energy.
The sub atomic period may refer to research into the structure of the atom, since the 2nd world war, and especially since the construction of the CERN facility under France and Switzerland.

As for the rest of your Classifications, maybe the development of phoiosophical ideas during the 'Greek Period', Practical Arts? the observation that cadmium made yellow pigment, and lead vould produce white pigment for use in painting and decoration of pottery.
Best conjecture I can give, sorry.
