instead of Honda parts mess the system? Will it ruin the car if Jobber parts are put on a Honda. I know for a fact it's always best to put the company parts like Honda parts because they last longer and there molded for the car. I getting the buyback on my sisters 2006 accord which has low Km however I am mad she put the jobber parts because I think It may effect the Honda system. On the Honda site it's says putting other parts other than Honda can effect the total system of the car, is that true.
Hey Starship Pain do you have a email were i can reach you, I want to ask you some questions about honda parts .

I don't know what Jobber parts are but if the parts are made for the Honda and they are quality parts, it's just fine. Auto manufacturers make those statements because aftermarket parts aren't always up to OEM standards and can cause problems and the auto manufacturers will not be responsible for those problems. It's also another way to influence you to buy their parts.

No-it wont hurt and it isnt always the best. To tell you the truth alot of aftermarket parts such as brake pads-even if they say Honda on them they are not made by Honda. They are made by other companies for Honda. If you go out and buy a new Honda today, i can guarantee you that their are many parts inside of it that were not built at a Honda plant.
The only reason Honda says that on their website is to get you to buy from them. They are more than willing to sell you a set of brake pads at the dealer for like $100 when you can get them at your local auto parts store for $20.
People dont understand how cars are built these days, many parts are not manufactured by the actual car companies anymore. I worked for a company which produced air conditioning systems that went into new GM, Chrysler, Ford, BMW, and yes, Hondas.
