I'm switching psychiatrists, after not going to one for 4 years, it took me almost 2 years to work up from a 10 mg Paxil that didn't work at all, to getting 2 mg Xanax, which actually helped me. I don't want to go through that again, so will the new psychiatrist be able to look up my previous prescriptions, or will they take my word for it when I tell the doctor?
